Probably had 1/4 mile visibility today with the fog and the scope was all fogged up in a matter of minutes. I'm not a big fan of the lighted scopes anyways...

I've never had a scope fog on me unless I breathed on it. I don't turn the light on my scopes. Never had a need too.
Idk, it formed some fog on the covers as soon as I pulled it out and didn't take much longer to form on the glass.
Has anyone else ever went 2 months of hunting season without confidence? I just did and it sucked! I didn't just lose it in my equipment, I lost it in myself. I seriously almost gave up hunting all together. No joke, not just saying that. I was crushed.
I'd like to thank everyone for dealing with my cry baby bullshit these last two months. Today I went back hunting with a bow and felt like I hadn't all year. Confident in myself and my equipment! I never seen a deer today but it was the best hunt of the year for me. Had something came out, I would've killed it and I knew it. What a great feeling to have again!
The last two months I've only gun hunted and I've been pissed. That's no way to hunt. Even when I did take a shot at a deer, I basically set myself up for failure. I waited for the deer to get into a tight window before stopping him. I knew if the shot wasn't perfect, I'd hit the tree and wouldn't wound another deer...
Not sure why I'm rambling here, reflecting I guess. Anyways...look the fuck out deer! I've got a freezer to fill and limited time to do it.
I smiled when I took this pic and sent it to Rick. The weight has been lifted and I feel great.
I felt it as soon as I left the driveway.

Awesome! Back in the saddle again. I was having issues with my scope fogging over in the blind so I just left the covers on until I seen a deer. Seems like days like today when the humidity was high is when I had troubles with it. Good luck!!!
