May and June are breeding months here in Jersey for our black bears... This time of the year young bears show up in areas they normally are not... This is because the bigger older board chase them away.. Yesterday my niece had one up a tree in her yard.. She lives maybe 25 mins. from the George Washington bridge leading into NYC... Not the best pic but you get the drift....
