TOO Salt Fork Muzzy hunt - 1/4/25

Just wondered. With the storm coming and the cold temps I didn't know if anyone was gonna stick it out or not. Movement was slow as hell where I was south of you.
I only seen 2 in the fields the whole way back up 77 north. They moved like crazy Thursday and Friday here , a few buddies I talked to that hunted around home said it was dead today go figure

In PA, the man lost his pistol on a drive crawling on his hands and knees throughout the Rhododendrum‘s. Crawl into their bed this time of year to bounce them.

We had a great time today, my two boys had a ball. @ThatBuckeyeGuy drinking whiskey in your truck waiting for my boy and @Dannmann801 lost in the wilderness. I arrived with 2 boys and left with two boys. It was good a day.

New member but long timer lurker. I’m an evil non resident from your western neighbor Indiana but have been coming to SF for 6 years now. I don’t mean to bring up old thread but just want to say this is awesome you all get together and do this. I’m often times solo hunting so if this continues to be an annual event and you’d take one more count me in!!! Either way it’s refreshing to see camaraderie and people just enjoying the outdoors together without drama. I remember times of forums pre social media and honestly miss it. Either way good luck this upcoming season everyone, won’t be long!!!

@Tysonhunter Welcome! I'm sure this event will happen again this year, so yeah, watch and plan to come.
Good group to hang with! And out of staters are made welcome
(Yeah, we'll steal your hubcaps, but give 'em back before you leave.....)
lol as mentioned I’ve hunted nearly every inch of SF and haven’t had any negative encounters necessarily. Now the small tracts in western Ohio I hunt because they are under hour are a different story. I have hauled the camper in past but most recently devise other lodging as I like to haul my boat or kayak. Either way I make a good bird dog and enjoy others success as much or more than my own.
