Mange in Deer

If you look through a few of these photographs, you'll see that a few of the deer are missing patches of hair (mange?). In a few of them, they appear to be scratching a portion of their skin, which later appears to be injured. Is there any point in doing anything for them?

Changing of the coats. Happens every year. I don't think this is mange.

I agree. Looks like normal shedding of the winter coat. What your seeing and thinking is an injury is the rusty summer coat and not raw skin or blood.
