I met Joel and his family in TX at our jiu jitsu gym. He is our kind of people and moved here for those very reasons, looking to raise in family in a good school system. You can read what I’ve included on the GFM page also, but they gave birth to twins at only 23 weeks. In addition to the emotional pain they will continue to endure, it all comes with huge financial implications.
He works for Pepsi (Gatorade factory) and his wife Alina works for Harley. Neither have been there long enough to get full FMLA and other benefits, so it’s a tough time. Please consider helping out a Marine, fellow outdoorsman, and overall strong family man with good values.
