Mason, Brock, others

I’m sure it’s a little different in every state but the common denominator is that there has to be a “safer” area for deer to reach maturity- and that doesn’t exist just everywhere. Just 15 years ago people commonly shot the easier deer not knowing there were bigger there. Trail cams changed that.
Trail cams are certainly a two edged sword. And now that I have cell cams out, I see how guys get addicted to them
Really a game changer. Hope y'all get a shot at your target buck.

Dang he’s all over that deer. 12 out of 14 and haven’t stuck him yet is incredible. Tell him good luck, can hardly wait for pics. Is he filming the hunt?
He has a lot of video of this deer staying out of range. We have never seen a “target” this many times. He is really frustrated right now and honestly getting tired of watching him. It’s crazy because usually if you get a look at one like this one time, you feel like you have won.

This is one I don’t mind sharing. I watched this deer all summer, knowing around the 20th of October he’d show up on a piece I like to hunt. Sure enough, he showed up this morning. I’ll be sitting in a tree this afternoon. So I guess the grind starts for me this afternoon.

For you to pass on the double drop means i truly cannot wait to see the smile on yours and Masons face when one of you at holding onto his antlers.

Good luck and thanks for bringing us along
I’d guess the deer mason is hunting is 50 lbs heavier than that drop was. I don’t know which rack adds up the highest but if Mason can get him killed we will likely find out. He is definitely after the bull of those woods.

Mason passed the 160 last night again but the big fella did not show up. He told me last night he is tempted to hang a stand so he can kill that ten with his recurve. It would be his second best buck, likely, and to kill it w a recurve would be cool. But, I am currently betting he sticks with the hunt for the big fella.
