Mason, Brock, others

What a crazy story, could you tell after field dressing what was damaged in the first two shots? Top lung and top liver?
Congrats Brock!
His first wound had completely healed. All backstrap. Second wound I’m sure would have healed too. He shot it quartered away. Arrow went between the shoulder and ribs, very little penetration. That deer, to anyone that didn’t know he’d been shot previously, was perfectly healthy. There was no limp, nothing to indicate he’d been through anything negative. Just amazing to me. I have more faith in their resilience than ever. I’d have bet money he would not have survived that first shot.

What model drone would you recommend to a beginner? I don’t want to spend 10 grand but ain’t against spending a couple grand. I’d like to use it to try and find out where the big bucks on the two properties I own here in NJ hang out…where they go to get away from other hunters, as there is a good amount of pressure here in southern Jersey. Any info or recommendations would be appreciated. Great story and I enjoyed following along.

I wish I could give you a good idea but cannot. I don’t know squat about drones, honestly. What I do know is the key to finding deer is thermal capable. And the cheapest w thermal is about 10k I think. DJI M4T. That is what our wildlife officer has now and that thing is awesome.
