Great write up Seth. How close to where you killed him were the sheds found?
What are your plans for getting him mounted?

The sheds were found 932 yards or .53 miles from the kill location. I want to do a floor pedestal with a habitat preferably of pine needles so I can lay the sheds in it. I do not want to spend 300-500 dollars for the base though. Any one know of a cheaper way to get one with me personally making it let me know!

Hell of a buck and great story to match. Having all those big bucks show up would keep my ass in the seat TOO. My wife text me your pic while I was in the stand with a message that said: "Not to rub it in..." My reply was simply that I don't know many guys who work harder or spend more time in the woods than you and that this deer was hard, and well earned. Congrats on a great buck Seth. He's the buck of a lifetime for many of us.

Oh, and spend the money on the pedestal. It'll make a great display for a worthy adversary. Print the trail cam pics out and hang them near him. You may duplicate this many times over, or you may never do it again. Plan for the latter and enjoy the fruits of your labor every time you see him!

Put pics up of examples that you like. Then I can give you an idea

Seth, what a great write up! I've read it 3 times now. The pictures and history make it really special and just plain awesome to read. Your hard work paid off big time and you've got a mount you can be proud of for life. incredible story and I'm just thankful to have read it. Unreal. Congratulations. Just. Plain. Awesome.

Personally, I find it extra exciting to learn that you shot this monster from a blind. Congrats on a GREAT buck!
