Jamesy, that's just a no-name scope that came with the barrel when I bought the 500 combo. Only markings on the scope are "2.5 x 20". But it kills deerz dead (2 so far).

I had very little knowledge and was just getting back into hunting when I bought it. I had my mind set on an 870 when a buddy of mine told me that the 12ga 500 combo was on sale at Dick's.
I thought it was pretty cool because you were getting 2 guns in one, but I handled both side-by-side and settled on the Mossberg. Glad I did (for me...it's a matter of choice).

I had high hopes of following in your footsteps (photo wise) since that shot hit the news stands last year Dan but I'm afraid my hearts just not in it this year.
Although the slug gun is by the door in-case something runs through the yard or tries to taunt me I'm afraid I will just have to pick up the game next year...

Just note you have inspired me to follow in the outstanding theme you have established. I thank you for that...
