Memorial Day

I had a great weekend with family and friends, we had multiple conversations about families of fallen soldiers. Every fire I started I said a little prayer for them all. I actually do this almost every time. I've never told anyone that...not sure why I just shared that.

Little late contributing here. I've been fortunate to not experience any loss of military life whether be family or close friends. However I'm always thankful for, and thinking of our military past and present. If you have time and interest, there's a podcast called Blueprint for Armageddon by Dan Carlin (Dan Carlin's Hardcore History) and it's all about WWI. It's reshaped my respect and admiration for those who have served in wars. My family enjoyed a beautiful weekend being free and enjoying American life at its best. All because of the many brave folks who've fought for freedom and I for one, am eternally grateful.

I thank God for all those that paid the ultimate price.
The soldiers that never came home.
The husbands and wives that lost their spouse.
The moms and dads that lost their child.
The children that lost their parent.
And all those that have lost a family or friend.
All while giving us the best home we could have.

Thank you with all my respect and admiration.
