Some of you may have read a thread I posted around November 4th titled " it wasn't supposed to happen like this". I had shot and wounded a big mainframe 12. There was very little blood, but I had about 6" of arrow break off so I wasn't sure if it was a fatal shot or not. I knew it was a high shoulder shot. I have been sick about wounding the biggest deer I have ever seen on the hoof. Well I hunted the same stand this afternoon and pulled my card on the way out and BAM!!!! Here he is. I am so happy he didn't die somewhere. I hate wounding deer I would rather clean miss. I have attaches some pics. You can see the wound high on his shoulder. A little embarrassing how bad the shot was but I got buck fever.
