Unfortunately guys, I think this LW strap upgrade was a bit of a flop. After using it a few times I feel that I need to put this statement out there... I DO NOT recommend using the LW cinch strap in place of Millennium's ratchet strap. I now understand exactly why Millennium went with a ratchet instead of a single cinch strap. No matter how tight you pull the cinch strap with your hands, the amount of leverage that's created when you step onto the platform is just too much... The receiver bracket pulls away from the tree just a bit, and creates some instability with the stand. When using a second strap around the bottom of the stand, it is manageable... and huntable, as I've done it a few times. However, I don't feel that it's stable enough to make this upgrade worth the risk. The ratchet style strap that Millennium provides is actually not that loud. I have since reinstalled the ratchet strap and have been using it instead... and it's much more stable.
As much as I love the Millennium M100, I think I may be switching to a Muddy Bloodsport for my mobile setups. Next season I'm also planning on replacing my LW stick cinch straps with ropes to make them quicker and quieter. The platform of the Bloodsport is quite a bit smaller than that of the Millennium, however I've found that I tend to stand more than I sit while hunting so I don't think this will be an issue. The speed, quietness, and convenience of Muddy's rope cam system would make for a perfect mobile stand IMO.
