I've used Deer Cane for I don't know how many years. Deer hit it .... more does than anything else, so IMO, it's nothing more than an attractant like a lot of other stuff. There's no way bucks will benefit from it when those that hit it, will only do so for a small amount of time during each visit. Rarely do I get a buck standing over a site for a lengthy amount of time for the most part. It's the same way with my Lucky Buck. These sites provide me with info on deer that I wouldn't get if the cams were just on a trail. For a buck to really benefit on something, it'll be genes, available food source, cover & the luck of having some guy being a crappy shot.
