Monster Ohio Typical

Alanst.. Welcome... Perhaps you missed the point. Or your big head got in the way from understanding it... Nobody was talking about your hunting prowess. Or your history killing bucks. Or what you lease or do.... "Another" was in reference to the big pet deer being killed in C-bus every year. "Another neighborhood pet bites the dust"... They are just that.. Nothing special, just some dude with a checkbook and time to drive around the burbs.. Pardon me if i don't bow..

Let me try to reset the tone of this conversation:

Welcome to the site! COngratulations on your buck! We would love to hear more of the story. Many of these big deer are taken with controversy. Some of them because there ARE actual conflicting stories, some of it is because people are jealous. Once again, congrats and feel free to share your story! Welcome to the best outdoor site in the state of Ohio!
 
The most amazing thing to me is how guys like this manage to track down every thread on the web and show up long enough to make an ass of themselves, then leave. It happens every year on forums across the country. I'm yet to see someone defend a big buck without letting their ego drive the conversation. And Lord knows if it was me in the hot seat, I'd be able to formulate a coherent defense of my deer and the details around it. Dang...

I know... It's just funny because it's almost always the same old thing. Instant defensiveness & attitude. You'd think people would be a bit more humble, take the time to pull up a chair & share the story. That would probably get a few more "pats on the back" & congratulations instead of the kicks in the ass that the attitude approach gets.

Oh well... off to work, then later on I'll just continue my quest for that 120" deer

Probably wouldn't to be honest... If he comes back maybe he'll tell us stories about Gahanna park, Or some properties around fishermans warehouse.
 
No loss in my eyes. You would think someone with such "hunting prowess" would like to enjoy the company of fellow outdoorsman. I guess sometimes it is hard to see past your own shadow when it is so large.

Could be legit? Then again, why search the internet to see if people are talking about you, then get online to defend yourself and act the fool. . . unless you have a guilty conscience or you are a narcisist?
 
This reminds me of that Columbus area cop who shot a big deer. Next his wife will be on here telling us how great he is. Awesome deer. Ill never understand why people give 2 shits about What others think.

I wonder if Ronnie shared these stories with NAW when he did his cover shoot. He sure disappeared after we brought it up. Wonder If he got them expunged yet? That's ok. I made copies. :)
