Hardin already had a positive test years ago I thought, the initial transmission occurred right around the Marion, Wyandot and Hardin County lines. Also the baiting banned in those counties isn't being enforced very well, I see feeders from rt 30 all the time.

It did, Allen is the added and it isn't even the entire county. The announced it a few months back and obviously didn't get the reaction they wanted. So here we are again with the scare tactics.

And deer to be kilt. ODNR doesn't notice the loss of revenue from the decline of hunters when they dip into all these other programs.

Here's some more s*** from the DNR....
They've been knocking on doors in western Hardin and eastern Allen counties, asking permission to shoot deer that may have CWD. These guys are designated shooters from the DNR. How in the hell do they know if a deer has CWD, before they shoot it? They don't!!!

They're asking the average citizen landowner, not hunters and are getting permission to randomly kill deer on their property. They're doing it at night with suppressed rifles and thermal scopes.
A hunting buddy of mine that lives west of Ada, in Hardin County, hunts his area as well as a couple of properties in eastern Allen County. The landowners that he has permission from to hunt, have been getting visits from the DNR, asking permission to shoot deer. Some are allowing it, thinking that they don't have a choice because they're showing up in uniforms and acting all official. Intimidation is no way to run a State office.

From what I’ve read and listened to in podcast, I don’t think there is much federal funding for cwd, I think the state is just doing their best to stop the spread so we do not end up like Wisconsin. If I’m miss informed please correct me with some sources

100% depends on what rabbit hole you go down. I was scared of it for years. Well, the prion part of it. Now I am convinced that we are finding it because we are looking for it. I believe it's always been here. I do not like that they base all decisions on dead deer. That is freaking stupid. That animal has already been removed from the herd. Like shutting down TOO because of a banned poster.

I can understand the concern western states would have with Elk because they are a true herd animal but Colorado has dealt with it with little concern for 20+ years. I’m up in the air on it

I believe I remember hearing on meateater that the fed Government gave couple million for cwd research, etc for all states effected , which is basically nothing, my point was I don’t think there is any money to be made from federal programs

I’m not going get into debate about Ted as I agree with him about 50% of the time, but he’s been Texanized meaning he thinks rich ass holes should be able to do whatever they want and buy large pieces of land and manipulate it any way they see fit no matter the result. This is y Texas has a whole host of exotics living on their land scape.
