Gotta go get my quad unstuck in da back 40!! Got stuck last night taking corn out. Shut it off to get the wench cable around a tree ( big mistake ) the battery was dead when I went to start it. Never would have thought the electric wench would drain a battery so fast. Bought me a 600 AMP jump starter. Sucks to have had to buy it but it is one of those things that you hope you don't have to use much but when you need it your glad to have it.

Evening Cuz and you wild and crazy guys. Yea J, got it running, actually I think the problem was a lose battery cable. Got it fired up and rocked it then it stalled. Now I can't get it in neutral that is required to fire it up. It is not level and can't get the gear shift in netural. This sucks because it is in gear and can't use the come a long to get it out.
Can you move it fwd enough too block the rear tires too take the load off of the tranny?

J, nope can't get it to move forward or back at this point. I screwed the pouch with the wench on a tree so going back is no option, either forward or sideways. Going get some more tow strap to try again and or have the brother in law come over to help me tonight. Broke through a the ice on a mud hole and fell into it yesterday, that was a sucky walk home completely soaked. I did manage to save my cell phone at least.

Look up the neutral safety switch.... You might be able too disconnect it and get it started.... Be aware if you can do this, it'll be in gear when you start and may lurch on you.... Set the parking brake if you do it....
Yes. having it in neutral will allow you to just push the green ignition button BUT it will also start while in gear if you just hold in one of the hand breaks on the handlebars.
