Mornin' geezer!

Glad to hear it! I took my kids down to the traveling Viet Nam Wall last weekend. Obviously, being a Cville native, Leroy came to mind. He did an awful lot of good for his fellow vets in Pickaway Co. And I sure do remember the metropolis . I wonder what they dug up... A few years ago I took the kids down to Seip Mound (its close to my "newer" neighborhood), while students from OSU were digging around in it. Pretty neat stuff.

Leroy is still working for Vets. He is on the county VA Board. He has put on a lot of weight and is having some health problems. I'll tell him you were asking about him.

I don't think he'd remember me. I volunteered to help clean the memorial when I was in HS, but that was 25+ years ago. I remember him telling stories of walking point in Viet Nam while carrying a shotgun, blowing a man in two pieces with it, etc. War is an ugly deal, and he was a great public speaker that conveyed that message well. Always respected him for speaking as he did, and for his efforts on behalf of the Vets and the memorial they put up at Ted Lewis. Honorable man in my eyes.

Morning Dudes!!!!!!!!!! Brock I asked Leroy this AM if he remembered a big ugly dumb guy named Brock Rat some thigh or other. He said did I mean the guy who helped clean the memorial? I said yea. He said sure do. lmao:pickle::smiley_clap: No fooling, he does remember.
