I know this aint worth much without the photo, but I saw a legit trail cam pic of a big cat in Cambridge today. I reserve a special kind of F that for this revelation. Bobcats are manageable, but cougars? C’mon God, what are we doing here in OH, we had a good thing goin’. Anyone else ever have a sighting, in person or otherwise? I’ll work on getting the pic on here.

Usually they're spotted occasionally in the western counties when one decides to go for a long roam.
Who in the world made up the rumor about wolves being released?

One was hit on 75 in Dayton had a tracker on it last year “rumor”... bud the odnr does do sneaky things they don’t tell the public stuff like this because they don’t want people to get scared or hunt them.. all hush hush unless you know some one who knows someone if I know that I mean.. ex how many bear sightings have you heard about in Ohio past 10 years though the state.. more than what’s being said... just like wolves mountain lions ect these animals left this area for a reason and we can all list a few per person on this fourm

You don't want wolves here. Theres a reason the settlers wiped them out. They are 100x more efficient killers than coyotes and have less fear of humans. Not good for anything as far as Ohioans should be concerned
I don’t no the exact amount but I do no odnr released them to see how they would thrive here

I’m one of the people on the hate ODNR train most of the time. I would be more inclined to think average people had something to do with the coydog/coy wolf deal. People thinking it’s cool to have a damn wolf as a pet and it getting away.
