I had to switch, I’m watching “Raised Hunting” now. 15 minutes in and I like it already. Wife and two boys trying to talk dad into getting a dog. [emoji23]

This is my favorite hunting show. I’ve been watching it from day one. You really need to go watch the previous series.

I believe this is the first episode I’ve ever seen. I like it. Relatable kind of show to me. Talks to my soul...not sure I want to watch this next one though. Austin with leukemia episode.

Most of them are tough to watch but well worth it. I can see my life coming of age and w my family in these life lesson/hunting shows. Quality stuff for sure. First one I watched, it moved me to tears as I watched it..... I knew then this was my show.

That’s why I skipped that last one. Some quality shit here, not much hunting as much as life lessons and what matters. Just a short clip for those interested. Take the minute to watch this.

Cut the cord and I’ve been on a THP kick again. Got me thinking about the down side to what they do. This is going to make deer hunters think they can just go barge into a bedding area and get aggressive. Forcing deer to go nocturnal earlier in the season. Because they seen it on YouTube.

More shitty bow hunters thinking they’re hot shit because they seen it done.

I also foresee swamps no longer being a sanctuary for deer.

Maybe this is all because of my piss poor attitude this last week. Or maybe it’s clarity and reality.

You're not wrong.
Then comes the “wut rut” threads. Might be time for me to start thinking more about the less is more approach on some of my properties. Gun only type of thing. Let everyone do what they’re gonna do on surrounding properties. Going to have to find a way to adapt to this new aggressive style of hunters coming.

That being said, I had a great season this year by hunting right off of roads. 😂

It is a fad that will soon pass. Alot of guys will try it for a year or two and then give up this style. It takes alot of work to hunt the way they do and most won't put that much effort into it.

Personally I like the style and have been doing more of it. You need to have alot of places to hunt as you can't keep hunting the same spot.

Now when I hunt the private that I hunt in PA, I don't hunt the same style or I would put myself out of business in a short time frame. For public though I think it is a fun and effective way to hunt.

To do it correctly takes work and knowledge of the way the land lays. This is the problem I see, people doing it the sloppy way.
