Hey Chad have you had a chance to take the landowners son out yet?Would be cool if he got one and would probably keep your permission on that place for years to come.
No, I've texted him 3 times about it last week and offered to take him out this weekend and he never got back with me. I even offered him a breast off the bird and he never responded to that either. I talked to him on the phone Monday after I shot the bird and it sounded like he regretted letting me hunt because I killed that turkey and his son didn't. His buddy took his boy out for youth and they didn't kill one, then he took him out on Tuesday and I let them use my decoys. So I went out and picked my blind up and moved it 200 yards down the gas line where I have permission at my in-laws. I don't know what to do, I've offered 3 times to take his boy out, not much else I can do.

I'm going with this pose for my mount. Half strut, gobbling on a limb. McKenzie makes a nice limb that looks very real. This will show off his 11 3/4 inch beard and 1.5 inch spurs very well. He busted a couple wing feathers off after I arrowed him so that side will be facing the wall.
