Truely sorry to hear about this, but what a fascinating thing that his vitals would jump back when telling stories. Good luck fishing today as well.

My condolences to you and your family. It is good you were able to see him before his passing. You will be in my thoughts.

Thanks for all the kind words and prayers guys. It was a tough week, but one I will remember more as a tribute to Dad rather than just losing him. I fished the Maumee on Sunday with 4 good friends and we hiked a half mile through icebergs to get to our spot. We only caught 3 legals, but we had the place to ourselves. Man it was awesome out there. And then yesterday a buddy and I chased some gills around and managed 26 pie plate shaped gills in the tough conditions. I used Dad's old ice jigs to get them, so that was pretty neat. It's back to work today and a sense of normalcy, which is definitely needed. And during the services everybody absolutely loved the picture display with all the awesome photo's that Adam, Jesse, and the rest of you guys put together. Those things absolutely mean the world to my whole family, and I wanted to thank you guys again

Glad we could contribute to the tribute Ryan. I loved hearing stories about your dad. He was part of a breed of men that we don't have enough of any more. I have little doubt he will be enjoying your future outdoor pursuits from the best seat in the house.
