My Dad's fabricated sawmill

I know a guy with a pile of cedar wood poles he’s wanting cut up. If your dad is looking to make some money back on this project, I can forward his number.

Not too much to report. He was tending to Grandma who took short stint in the hospital. He got out and made the blade guides. The left one is adjustable for size of log. He also added a belt tensioner to take sole slack out.
 
I had never been exposed to sawmills before, so this thread caused me to google/youtube and learn a little about 'em.
Looks fun as hell, looks like a lot of work, looks like it would be very gratifying to have your own lumber you'd produced instead of getting from a lumberyard.
Will be looking forward to more updates!!

And thank God for hydraulics, huh?
