my future

She is eleven Phil going on 21 lol. Your right we better enjoy these years while we can.

Oops. My daughter just turned 12. Guess they are the same age. I often forget how much younger my daughter looks than her friends. Either way, 5,8,11,14. . . we need to get them out as often as we can. I think it is important and you never know when they will change their minds. Good to have a good foundation built for them. I don't think it ever leaves them.

We bout pulled it off tonight. I passed up a small buck this morning. A year and half old deer that had two big forks . He went into the bedding spot downwind of me. And the whole time he was at 4 to 40 yards all I could think was dang it wish the kids was with. Soooo tonight my daughter was. I rattled a little and there he came 45 yards but he wouldn't close the distance for her. So close but yet so far lol.I front know who was shaking more me or her.

Awesome!!!! This is my daughters first year out with me and were having a blast!!! Shes thirteen now and all of a sudden says she wanted to hunt this year. I asked her years before but she said she didn't want to so i didn't push her to go. I am sure glad she changed her mind and she is TOO.
