Been thinking of this all night, hope things are going well today.
Thanks. My text quit working at some point but that didn’t stop me from waking up every half hour to look at my phone. Awaiting MRI this morning.
Without going into details...we are back at him trying to pass the swallow test. Kinda hard for me to get a real feel for what is going on. Feels like I should take tomorrow off and go see him for myself.

Just now catching up! Thoughts and prayers coming Dave. Sucks you can’t go in and be with him or see him which I’m sure would be great encouragement for him. I know the feeling of helplessness with what we/I went through with K in March.

It really is unreal how this family works. Between text, phone calls, PM’s and the two I seen in person today...I feel pretty dang good. I’d put this support system way above any other social media.Just now catching up! Thoughts and prayers coming Dave. My phones been messed up for a couple of days now. So communication has been hit and miss. I do know that he is doing better. Talking and eating food again.
Had 3 major seizures (the bad ones) and one bad fall. Sorry it took me a while to give details but a lot of questions were still in the air. It took some very heavy sedation to get the seizures to stop. Some major brain swelling from chemotherapy was the root cause.

Today’s battle is finding future care for him. U of M is at full occupancy for rehab and he needs to find somewhere else to go.

Great to hear things have turned for the better, will keep you all in my thoughts as you work to find a new location for his recovery.
Looking like the transfer to rehab happens tomorrow. Found a place closer to home also. They allow 2 visitors a day for a total of 4 hours each day. Great news for the family!
