Dang. Sorry to see this Woody. I think next week is supposed to be decent. Hopefully your family can get back in there next week to a cleaned up house. This just sucks.

Thats sucks bad. Hope you guys are back in the house soon and that insurance covers it. This is why my gun safe is on the second story of the house.
Nothing new. Still waiting on insurance. I had a company come in and rip out the carpet and 4ft of drywall. I got tired of waiting on insurance so I went and bought a few sheets of drywall so I could at least get the bathroom back together. My gut is telling me that I'm gonna be rebuilding the basement and paying for that company on my own dime.. I'm not at all happy right now but not a lot I can do since I am dealing with a branch of the govt.. NFIP National Flood Insurance Program. As soon as I hear anything I will update. Thank you all for the offers and concerns..
Good luck man. We all know the government could fugg up a wet dream, so I figure a division dedicated to flood insurance could fugg up a wet house.
