She was not a Playmate. Its been over 10 years so the specifics are a little fuzzy, but I believe Playboy used to do these Playmate searches and go from city to city. When they came to Cleveland sometime in the mid to late 1990s she "tried out". Wasn't selected as a Playmate, but was put in one of those "girls of the Midwest" type pictorials.
