Danica needed to go 2yrs ago. Glad to see Gordon out of the car and pretty impressed with his commentary so far this season. He does a good job limiting his personal experiences or pimping Hendricks, both of which I was concerned with.

The no bump zones on superspeedways suck but at 220+, it was time. The big ones are awesome but that type of speed was collecting racers that were never involved in years past as more cars get collected.

If you have never been to a race, you owe it to yourself to feel the roar of 43, 900+hp cars going 200mph!!!

The only bad thing about Gordon doing commentary is I can't get the satisfaction of watching Boyers pit crew whip his ass again. On the other hand the fag did race nascar style and wasn't scared to put someone in the wall or get them loose.

The worst thing that happened to nascar besides the stupid racing rules was Stewart turning from a driver to a owner. He's too caught up in the business side of it and forgot to be the asshole he truly is. Nascar beat him down for a long time for being such a dick on the track and he just rolled over and took it. Now he drives like my grandmother.

Agreed Joe, was REALLY looking forward to seeing him pull it all out to finally win the 500. Maybe next year, oh wait....

Some of these new kids have enough attitude that I see things getting interesting again. Even though I hate most of the newer guys...it's fun to hate them.

I'm enjoying watching the 24 for the first time in my life! That kids got talent!!!

I'm hoping Penske picks up another ride and signs Ryan Blaney, he's hot talent as well just hasn't had the cup team too really show it..... He's hanging in there with the wood bros though....

I think some new talent will be great for the fans. People get tired of the same old shit, and that's exactly what the last few years turned into.

I ways like Truex TOO, but just can't bring myself to root for a guy in a fuggen Toyota. That's not a dig towards any of you guys either, I just don't understand how they ever made it into this. They've never even offered a car with a V-8...

The old green number 33 car is what got me started. Harry Gant and his Skoal car... I used to get all excited when I seen this rolling down pit lane.

I got started on Nascar when I was a little kid. We would go to Charlotte every year for race week and camp all week. We would go there and to richmond. The family ended up getting out of it, and I'm just now starting to pick it up again. I don't watch many races but i keep up on the highlights. Some buddies and I go to bristol every year, and let me tell ya, if you've never been there you're missing out. It's amazing!

Been too mishitgan once and 3 times too Bristol in the spring and once in the summer.... Nothing like short track action when there's not a bad seat in the house....
If you've never been too thunder valley you owe it too your self if you're a fan....

It's been a while, but I've also been to MIS and Bristol. I'm sure once the kids grow a bit older we will revisit those places.

It's amazing how thirsty you get at those events...lol
