My brother took my nephew Jake up to our new elevated shooting house last night. It was the only second time It had been hunted since we built it. Several does filtered through the clover as the evening progressed. Soon a small six-point appeared but they opted to pass because he had already shot a bigger buck than that a few years ago. This nine point rolled in that we’ve had on camera all season and he opted to shoot it. He made a really good double lung shot with the crossbow. A easy track job resulted in a very happy young man.
