I was still smarting after the 2nd anniversary of our retreat out of Afghanistan on 30 Aug... called some buds, unbelievable. 😔

Then the reason I missed most of my kids young lives was the event today, 22 years ago.

Just damn...

All part of the plan. They are staging another attack on US soil to get Americans on board with another war.
War has already been declared and noone sees it. They injected people with experiments, they poison the food, water and air we breathe. Our forefathers gave up everything so we could be free (1776) and modern society doesn't want to give up anything. We are far worse off than they were then. It will take something to unify and unite. The gas is poured all around us and I'm waiting for the spark.

I was getting my oil changed on Columbus Rd in Athens when the events all started unfolding in NYC. That was my first truck, a little Nissan, and I HATED changing the oil in that thing. The filter was such a pain to reach. That day I said to heck with it and was going to gladly pay someone else to do it. I sat there watching their little 15" tv, watching the news as it was rolling in. I was just stunned. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. That stunned state lasted a few days. We visited the Trade Center Memorial several years ago shortly after my wife and I got married. Then, this past summer, we finally made it to the Flight 93 Memorial in PA. Both stops were really emotional, knowing what went down there.

There will be no unification. Not at this point. You can't unite with those who want you dead and your entire way of life torn up and replaced with socialism. I expect balkanization.

I hate this day.
I can appreciate that sentiment. The aftereffects to our country not even counting the cost of lives, mental and physical health and literal cost have been horrendous.

The sense of country and love that was seen in the weeks afterwards was magical and it's heartbreaking to see how far from that sentiment we are as countrymen now.

A 1/4 of the US population were born after 9/11 and can’t relate to what we have/are going through on this day. The numbers only deepen from here. Reminiscent of our parents and grandparents who went through Dec 7, 1941. They saw the same thing we are currently seeing, we just have the internet and social media that blasts it relentlessly…..
