New custom stock came!

My new stock came for my Savage ML-II from Richard's Custom Stocks.:smiley_clap:
I'll post pics here on the progress of finishing it.

Sweet! I am a fan of laminate thumbhole stocks. If you don't mind...how much did it run you? Follow up pick of it finished is a must.

It was $225 with pad and swing swivels installed plus shipping. This is the ONLY after market custom stock that is a drop in fit for my gun (even has the ram rod slot). There are cheaper stocks out there, but they need to be modified. It feels good.

I know a couple of guys that have them and like 'em. They usually leave lots of wood so you can make it fit you.

I still have some areas to clean up. A few areas had some deeper machine marks. After that I can start the tung oil process.

Getting close to putting a finish on it guys. I got my 100% pure tung oil in. There are some machine marks that are giving me hell, but once those are worked out, I should be close.
