Had a daytime (which is good) at the spot I baited... So we are off to a good start...

Yes does look like a tag.... Yes tagged bears are pretty common... That exact spot the pic was taken, I shot a 12 year old 450 lb. Male that was tagged when young but both tags were torn out... How do I know ??? Bear had a tattoo in its lip from when it was tagged and the state gave me the info... Was tagged about 15 miles from there when young....

Don't get your drift... I shot the bear... See log to the left?? I was sitting behind it and shot the bear at approx. 10 yds...

Little bit of daytime activity today... Don't look big, but daytime is good...

Looks like the same bear has been coming in during daylight hours... Not big I'm guessing 175ish judging from the width of his ass ... I'm not happy with how the tactacam is working... I'm getting one pic and only one pic... What about the bear coming in or leaving... It's set on 5 sec. Delay... Going tomorrow to rebait and swap out cameras...

So went and rebaited Jon's spot today... Did not swap out cameras as I had no sd card for other camera... Did bump into a bear walking in... Hard to tell size as it's so thick there... After that I went to the piece I will hunt to try and resolve camera issue... I pulled Spartan and put a Moultrie there... No service WTF... I had service last year on two cameras... I'm guessing cell phone tower is down for one reason or another... Got home and looked at SD card that was in camera... Was happy to see several bears including a nice big male... He's probably 450-500 lbs.. Nice long bear which makes them heavier than a short roll Polly one... See if he hangs around.... Also a big sow with 3 cubs....

So Jon.... Where do you want your stand hung.... The potatoes chip isle or ice cream isle ??? Seems a bear wandered into a Dollar General store in my town...

Go figure no pics of bears last night or this morning at two spots... Yet they are in dollar general... On the bright side at my other spot I threw up two cameras a Bushnell and a Spypoint ( yeh I know they suck, it was in the truck so I figured what the hell it has cycled around to a hundred free pics )... Well no service on either one when I hung them... Guess they will take pics and I'll just have to view SD card... Well around two am I hear my phone beeping... It's the Spypoint sending pics... Guess I'll have to buy a plan now... Pics weren't bad either....

Well guess I'll start Jon out in that world famous " Pumpkin Patch " No pumpkins there this year... Seems the bears go through there every day and during daylight hours to boot... And no bait near there... Probably gonna have to put a heated seat and a foot warmer in the stand for him... Oh.. I have the cable company coming next week to hang a dish for him ...
