Seems Sports Illustrated did an article on New Jersey Bears.... Seems over sensationalized and anti hunting.. Story of kid getting killed and half eaten sounds along the same story I heard when it happened... Love it when they say signs were not posted warning of bears and if there had been things might have been different.. REALLY?? They were told there was an aggressive bear ahead turn around.... Nope gotta go check it out...

Can’t fix stupid. A lot of people need to see animals as cute. We hunters know what most animals are capable of on a daily basis. The same reason we have to put warning labels on everything. People need to take responsibility for their own actions. Crazy world in today’s climate.

It’s just a matter of time before someone gets attacked down here from the bears. Only then we might be able to find a balance.

Nick.. Matter of time before someone gets attacked??? This spring the bears are gonna raise hell... Last year there was no mast crop (acorns, beech nuts etc.) IMO 99% of the bears went into hibernation a month early on an empty stomach... Couple that with the massive amount of snow that we have had is gonna keep bears hunkered down for an extra month... They are gonna wake up mighty hungry.... All the makings for home invasions etc... Gonna be a busy spring for the police in my town...
