Nice 10

Hmmm....:smiley_chinrub: I'm no expert, but I just don't see 139. His G3s are not 4 inches longer than his g2s and I think 9 inches is pushing it on the G3s. I also think there's probably 4 or more inches of asymmetry. My guess would be high 120's gross and mid 120's net. I think he looks alot like the buck I killed last year, but a ten instead of an 8. I think I scored mine at 116".
 
This buck has me all over the place. I am starting to wonder if he isn't the offspring of the buck I have pictures of the last three years. Other option being maybe his Daddy is still running around and I am mixing up the two? I don't know. Here are the latest.

I believe this is the "Nice 10". Just one picture in hard horn and he was moving thru at night. A bit of blur in the picture. Not terrible, but bad enough I can't verify with 100% certainty.

I know you guys say he has tons of potential, but he hasn't done much in the last 3 years. I am 75% certain it has been the same deer the last three years. I believe he was 3.5yr old the first time I got pictures of him. His body was bigger then as well.

I say 75% only because it is possible it has been a brother or his father I have seen on camera the last 3 years. I don't think you can pass on this deer though in my shoes. I will have limited hunting time and he is a solid deer.

THanks Ric. I have been very blessed with several opportunities to "choose" from this year. Probably taking the first one which presents a shot. Might not even get a shot opportunity. Part of hunting. I would say several solid 130's bucks is a darn nice selection.
 
He is starting to show with a little more regularity. Had I checked all the cameras the last time I would have had these pics. I was only checking the one I could from my truck in the rain though. I didn't want to disturb the area just to check cameras. Tonight I hunted a stand which walked me past this camera. It was a good card pull other than the hunter in there on opening morning without permission.

I still think this dude is going in my freezer given the chance. He has got to be solid 130's. Thoughts now that he is hard horned? Short g2 on the left side hurts. If those g2's weren't so darn short I think he would make OBB.

I think I just like him because he looks like he is giving the camera the bird. lmao
