I think they are cool as hell. I always wanted to find some big spikes to make some steak knife handles.
I posted awhile back that I would be happy if I found 3 sheds this year. This set makes #7 and 8 for me. The biggest one so far is 1/2 of the buck Joy was trying to kill. She had a very close encounter one evening and now she wants him pretty bad. Maybe I'll get lucky and find the other half for her.
I've not hunted real hard. Just checking out the open areas around our 3 corn piles. Ron told me to dump corn under a branch and it helps knock them off. I did this and got the biggest one of this year. Could be beginners luck, but it did work, so more corn got dumped there!

Great start Rick. I think it is pretty cool to find a spike shed. Harder to see than a 96" side.
I'm done, walked 2.5 miles around this property and didn't find a shed. I didn't cover the whole place so I'll be back next weekend. Got my dad's birthday party at my parents to go to now.
