If it was a liver hit, chances he'll be down for the count in about 4 hours or less.... If it was more gut then 8 hours would be my guess....

Positive not guts.i honestly thought I dbl lunged him.but he was still able to move after a hour .so that confused me.i guess I was just a little back.these bucks are tuff

I've never seen a double lunged deer live an hour. Depending on shot angle I guessing one lung and liver hit.

I'm with Hortontoter. Good luck. Should have him field dressed by now if you double lunged him. Even if you one lung/liver shot him last nigbt.
