The other day I did a video on the benefits of the NitroBoost - even into the winter.
We often see some of the sorghum stand back up (depending on termination method).
This doesn’t inhibit the growth of the carbon load (fall plot) but does act as some moderate cover and the seed head occurs - before the first frost.
As the snow is slowly melting on the farm, we see the fields loaded with deer, eating all the greens that are in Carbon Load. However- in areas where the sorghum popped back up and finished a grain head - we see the deer also focusing on this as a great late season food source.
This is another reason why the 1-2 system is so great for soils and wildlife!
