Would you consider adding more clover/chic to it. I think I’d seed it have and mow with our clover mix. That’ll be good for soil. Balance fescue. And cows will eat on it fine.

If you’ve followed us for a while - you’ve know that I am a massive fan of seed treatments. I love using our Seed Feed, Seed Armr+ and Spectrum+Myco every-time I plant a tomato to a foodplot.

You hear me talk a lot about exclusion fences. That is because I believe they are so critically important - all times of year.

Right now in most of the whitetails range - you can walk your fields, look for sheds, and check your exclusion fences.

You’ll immediately be able to notice a difference- even this quickly out of dormancy.

This particular field is newer and I am working to get it up to par with my other fields. To increase root mass before I plant our Nitroboost - I over seeded this with our Annual Clover mix. We caught some rain and should get a frost or two that’ll pull that right into the perfect depth.

This will allow me to add more root mass and food for deer, microbes and turkeys (they love annual clover fields).

Get outside and enjoy the outdoors!

Fields planted last August and the food keeps coming on. The grains and annual clovers are work horses this time of year - not only for the deer but also other wildlife and the soil!

This is a yard I’ve worked on for about 2 years.

It is primarily KY bluegrass

High PH and High CEC (7.8 and 18)

When we started I could hardly get a soil probe in 4inches.

2 years later - working to balance saturations, adding Vitalize Micros, foliar treating with Vitalize Fish Fert+Humics, and Seed Feed and Spectrum+Myco on the seed when over-seeding and we have topsoil!

That short of a period, in a monoculture and we are making things happen.

Now imagine how I fast we can make a change using high diversity like the 1-2 system.
