No Till Food Plots - So Easy

Without diversity this plot would not be feeding deer. However, it continues to feed plenty of deer, and as the Spring arrives - we’ll see the biomass catch up. Always be monitoring! Stay safe and check us out at VitalizeSeed.com

From one of the best to one of the worst soils on the farm (pics attached)- the carbon load continues to flourish feeding deer and soil!! This week we will be planting Nitroboost into these fields to continue to feed the soil and deer - all summer long!!

Was a great couple days!
Clover/oats mix doing great - filled in gaps
Got rain on the 13-14 acres of NB we planted
Carbon load absolutely put on fantastic biomass

Drilled some and drove away

Sprayed then drilled some - we reduced acres sprayed significantly.

Drilled and crimped

Would have liked to get more planted but happy with what we got done!

Drill and Drive away method.

This is one of my favorite methods - especially in the Summer. We had a great stand of Carbon Load in this field. We had rain in the forecast, and the ground was already somewhat soft due to previous rains.

Instead of getting the tow behind crimper potentially stuck or using more herbicide than needed. We simply drilled our Nitroboost into the standing carbon load and drove off.

The deer are in here every day eating the new emerging NB and of course the existing CL.

It might not be pretty but it works!
