Pulled my camera chips I've got throughout our property to see who made through the season so far. It's a pretty pressured area. I'm amazed how many shooters are only seen during night time hours. I probably have 60 hours in the stand this year and have yet to get a glimpse of some of these big boys. Seems like the rut is the best chance of getting these guys out in the daylight. Pussy make you brave!

If the area is pressured there's not much you can do. You could try the baiting mature bucks tactic but you would need to get that feed real close to where they're bedding and in some thick cover. The idea would be to let him pattern you dumping food and think he is safe enough to grab a bite in daylight. For that you will need to be close and in good cover.

Gotta get in the deepest darkest cover you got with food and stay there and maybe at first or last min of daylight one will show. Bow hunting after the bullets fly gets real tough

My best chances at shooting one have been pre rut, there easier to talk too then. See alot during rut but getting them to stop or come in is a struggle.
