TOO Garden Thread

I've come to grips with not being able to do a big garden with every iron I have in the fire, and I can't seem to commit to building permanent beds, so I went with 3 of these. I've ordered several things from VEVOR and they have high-quality stuff, so for $84 a piece, these felt like a good buy. I'll be able to put these in a place that's easy for me to water and maintain. After the failure I had with the fabric planter bags last year, this seems like a great compromise to get me back in the game.

Those are pretty popular down here. I see them all over the place. Neighbor has a couple in a greenhouse. He’s happy with them as well.
I went with treated 2x12’s so far so good.

Got 6 loads off the manure/compost pile spread and tilled in yesterday before the rain, in the pumpkin patch. Combined with the CL terminated, I wish you could smell this dirt.

I think the hard part is getting enough height with indeterminate varieties. That extra 2-3' off the ground requires a ladder mid-late season if you dont want em to fall. Definitely helps get transplants in the ground quicker with the warmer soil and less weeds!

I'll probably have one box for maters, one for peppers, then one for bush pickles. The goal is to set them up so I can run one or two cattle panel trellis' with pole beans and more cucumbers. I'm excited about the fresh start!
