Resistance is futile is a Star Wars phrase.

Resistance on a voltmeter measures the impedance electricity experiences across a wire. Basically. How hard is it for electricity to travel down a wire and how much loss does it experience due to resistence. The measurement for resistance is in ohms. Measuring resistance below 1 ohm is futile as the unit of measurement is 1 ohm.

So. Resistance is futile if less than 1 ohm.
