Ive talked to a lot of arts and civilians that worked on f111 in their careers. Not one person i have talked to have kind things to say about working on that airframe. Its a bad ass fighter bomber but as far as maintenance goes it sound pretty horrible. Right down to the millions of coin tip fasteners.
Yep, plus they lost a few of them due too their terrain tracking system as well.... But it did a good job when needed....
