Good one. I told a old neighbor after my pole barn was broken into 'if I catch someone, I'll shoot them dead and roll them down the hill and let the bugs eat them'. His eyes got big as golfballs and asked me if I carried a gun all the time 'yes I do' never had another problem. He was a convicted thief.
