As an American, and a patriot, how can you not love a public statement like that? Fuckin A, NRA... Fuckin A. :smiley_bro:

Great statement! And right here is what I had commented on the matter on a FB post yesterday. And I do not feel any other person is a member for the benefits...

Well said! Excellent statement to those who exited their sponsorship. Rental car companies are failing right now. This is a poor time to withdraw their sponsorship and give themselves a black eye.

NRA STATEMENT ON CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS
(FAIRFAX, VA) – The more than five million law-abiding members of the National Rifle Association have enjoyed discounts and cost-saving programs from many American corporations that have partnered with the NRA to expand member benefits.
Since the tragedy in Parkland, Florida, a number of companies have decided to sever their relationship with the NRA, in an effort to punish our members who are doctors, farmers, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, nurses, shop owners and school teachers that live in every American community. We are men and women who represent every American ethnic group, every one of the world’s religions and every form of political commitment.
The law-abiding members of the NRA had nothing at all to do with the failure of that school’s security preparedness, the failure of America’s mental health system, the failure of the National Instant Check System or the cruel failures of both federal and local law enforcement.
Despite that, some corporations have decided to punish NRA membership in a shameful display of political and civic cowardice. In time, these brands will be replaced by others who recognize that patriotism and determined commitment to Constitutional freedoms are characteristics of a marketplace they very much want to serve.
Let it be absolutely clear. The loss of a discount will neither scare nor distract one single NRA member from our mission to stand and defend the individual freedoms that have always made America the greatest nation in the world.

Way to go NRA!!!!

Yeah probably send in for the three year extension. Never gave to shits about anything in the envelope other than the members card and the sticker. When will companies know that getting political only will hurt them? Look at under armour lol

I just renewed mine for 2 more years as well. I will say one thing, I didn't join the NRA for discounts. Heck I DIDN'T even know they had them. One thing I will take from all of this though is a list of companies I will be very reluctant to do business with in the future. Hypocrites didn't mind making a dime off of NRA members the week before the shooting.

I’m not sure why these companies are dropping out. What are they gaining? They are punishing a group that has nothing to do with the problem.

Pressure and threats of boycotts from the anti gun liberals I imagine.

Great job NRA with that statement....:smiley_clap:

So let’s start a list of bullshit companies that I want to boycott and send emails to. I’m flat tired of this bullshit. These libtards are the ones getting violent and pointing fingers. I wouldn’t put it past them to stage some of these shootings. Fucking media...let’s start a movement that they are the problem and take their freedom of press.

Delta caves to the threatened boycott of snowflakes and pulls their discount offer to NRA members. So the governor of Georgia and the state senate republicans tell Delta to reconsider or risk having their 50 million dollar sales tax elimination incentive on jet fuel pulled from the state budget bill currently in the senate.
