Nuisance Trapping

Be sure to get the scissor style. Those big crab claw type are tougher to work into the ground especially when it’s dry.

Thinf us you can get professional grade mole traps for roughly the same price, or even cheaper and they're more versatile. You're kinda limited to surface tunnels only with those which aren't always the best tunnels to catch miles in because they're often single use.

Link to what you’re talking about?

What I do is try to find a long run between groups of multiple tunnels and have had tons of success with that strategy. Also finding very fresh tunnels is a must cuz it might be a long time they come back through if at all.👍🏻

Yes the long straight tunnels are the ones to target. The zigzaggy ones should be ignored unless you have plenty of time and extra traps

I’m glad I found this thread. They have destroyed my back yard and I’ve been looking at how to control them. I’ve tried the traps but can never find the right tunnel.

I probably just got lucky, but it’s a win no matter what.
Just walk around and look for the straightest run, smash down a foot’s length of it and place the trap in the flattened out part.

What kind of traps are you using? They look different than the style I have.
