Problem is the "average" American (47%) is getting hand outs now or benefits (union, green, education) from a socialist like society. Their vote will be personal and short sighted. Dang, didn't mean to be so negative.

Wife has to work tomorrow. She went to the board of elections office (or wherever it is they allow you to vote early) and she voted. I will summarize her thoughts: She waited 2.5hrs to vote. She thinks herself and an elderly couple probably in their 80's were the only ones there to vote against the incumbent. The place was packed and she felt very uncomfortable.
Just always find this interesting and how it applies today....

I voted already and I agree Phil, but look at NW Ohio. The rest of Ohio may be a vastly different story though, minus Cleveland possibly.

Sadly, I don't feel Lima is a liberal area. For the most part, we are a conservative area of the state. Local ministers have been bussing people into to vote from what I hear. My neighbor said he saw it on the news over the weekend.
I read what Curran posted maybe 2-3yrs ago. Tucked it away hoping it wasn't true, but knowing it is likely happening in front of us. It is very scary. I fear for our nation. All I can do is show up and vote.

No, but early voters vote liberal. I didn't see any stories today about buses taking people from Methodist churches yesterday.
Apparently they didn't need a free lunch. I forgot that part. I guess it was in the tv report. You tell someone that works for a living "I'll buy you lunch and bus you to the voting booth" and they will laugh and say "Uh, no thanks. I won't be bought. Now piss off, my lunch hour is shorter than yours."
