My dad killed one with my boys sitting with him. Heard 5 shots other than his
One found interest in me, and I in him as well. I love the games turkey play.

Might as well have been opening day of gun season. Place was packed, mostly Ohio plates with at least 4 Yoder toters in the mix. Between the shrooms, fish, and thunder chickens, it's the place to be apparently.

On the way back from ky. My brother shot one yesterday I missed one. And my other brother and me had multiple birds hang up 80 yards away and just wouldn't break. Might try it in the am. Cooper has a game tomorrow so it will be short.
I'm rarely able to roost birds, but I have enough experience on our farm to know where to start most hunts. This morning started like most: owl hoots from the ridge before dropping down to the main intersection of the hollers. Well, we're standing there listening and I'm telling a story about a hunt when a bird hammered off right above our heads in that spot and it wasn't 5 seconds later, a good bird sounded off 40 yards up the hillside from us right on cue! We played cat and mouse with him and his buddy for 2 hours before we bailed. Was a fun morning. We were watching him limb walk when I took this video.

I’m out slummin it on state land in southern Ohio, killed one here in this exact spot prior years. Going fishing at the Ohio River later

Day 1 of my vacation. Hunting public land in coshocton. Haven't heard a gobble yet , but did hear a hen . 2 shots way off in the distance. I'm staying put because I know they like to hit this spot later in the morning. Then its shrooming time .
Here's me rolling out at 8AM to go pick up trash at our local wildlife area. Meanwhile, I literally walked away from 3 hot birds that were hung up in a field 100 yards from me.
