What a friggin' stud! Hope you can catch him!
Aging deer can get a bit arbitrary after 5 or 6 years old without substantial history with this buck. Do you mind sharing why you think he is 8 years old?

me and a buddy bn watching him since 05 in his back yard..he has a defind spot on his hip that its hard to miss he started as a small basket 9 point two years he didnt grow much then 2011 he made a big jump then i found his sheds in 2012 this deer is like a pet hes in the yard every day witch we keep the feed to him..im sure he is 8 or little older but its a deer i could be wrong..lol
Between what years did he make the biggest jumps in size? In my experience, the jump for 3-4 can be drastic.
Penned deer usually live longer.
He don't look to be more than 4 to me but then again you have some history with him. He is definitely a stud. Good luck killing him this year.

4&5&6 was his higgest jump...and he is still getting point and mass..but this year goin to try to take him out with bow..
