The cooler weather should help him some. Make sure he don’t get cold tho. Either extreme is very hard on older dogs

My Pearl stays inside. I used to kennel my dogs but I’m getting soft as I get older. She is nursing on her blanket.

Crazy she just suckles it like a tit. I’ve heard of that before but this is my first one that does it. I am lucky, she has never peed or pooped or tore anything up in the house. She does camp in my spot on the sofa when I’m not home.

Vet told Christine yesterday that it was time. I just made it home to see him...he gets to sleep in the bed with me tonight. Love this dog and we had a good run together. I won’t let him suffer as she’s pretty sure he has cancer pretty bad now.

Christine had just told me last night and when I hung the phone up This song was on and I lost my shit. Had to pull over and everything.

As soon as the song was over, I stopped. Was weird, went and drank beer with Floki and his gang afterwards. Not real sure what time it was when I passed out in the car😂. I was real proud of myself at work this morning...🤥

I hope the chicken breast I gave Tanner doesn’t make him have gas. I didn’t have any ice cream for him. Night fellas

One of the hardest things to do, but you owe it to them to do the right thing. No pain like losing your best friend as they bring nothing but joy and love to your family.

Took me two years after I put down my last one to get another. The older I get, the harder it is to say goodbye. Damn man, my eyes are blurry typing this. Stay strong as you will meet again!
