Whitewater? You still paddle? I haven’t been on a river in 10 years but I’m going to get back in the boat and do the Yough one last time. I’m 58 so this may be the last time for any of that silly shit.

Sorry @Smawgunner2 I just saw this , I have taken all of the grandkids rafting on the New river but I have not white water kayaked in many years. I am 66 now. That trip on the yough I was probably 18 years old. I used to paddle with the AYH started when I was around 12. I still kayak and canoe regularly but nothing more than class 3

Everywhere. Smells kinda fishy from the carcasses. I would think the turkeys are loving it. Deer gotta be stressed out like crazy! I kept thinking I was gonna scare the hell out of a deer and it was gonna scare the hell outa me! Zero chance they would hear me walking up today.

I can't believe they're starting already. The only time we had that mess here was back in 2000. They'd be all over & on you. Odd thing was, they weren't up in the nearby woods or down further. It was hit & miss. Oh yeah, the death smell ....
